*1968 Founding of the Wiechers bakery by master baker Heinrich Wiechers (*1938) in Stuhr-Bürstel
*In addition to the bakery business, Heinrich Wiechers worked on patents for bakery equipment in his workshop to make his production even better. Initially, the proofing racks were only intended for the company's own use. Demand increased continuously.
*1990 Foundation of KippFix Schaubacktechnik GmbH
The idea: with the optimized devices, doughnuts can be tipped into the fat - without splashing.
*1992 Jutta Wiechers takes over her father's bakery business. He now devotes himself exclusively to KippFix Schaubacktechnik GmbH. He presents his products at international trade fairs and spreads the inimitable taste of Berliners worldwide.
*1993 Import of a unique filling and dosing system from the USA. From this, Heinrich Wiechers developed the Edhard filling system into one of the most widely used pastry filling systems on the German market.
*2000 Construction of new company headquarters with production, office and showrooms on 750 m2 at Rodendamm 26 in the Stuhr industrial estate. Increase in production volume to up to 6,000,000 million dough blanks per year.
2012 Timo Huber joins the management of KippFix Schaubacktechnik as a long-standing employee. He has been with the company since 2002 - first as an apprentice at the Wiechers bakery and later at KippFix Schaubacktechnik.
Company philosophy
Heinrich Wiechers is a passionate master baker. Standing still has always been a foreign concept to him. Instead, he is constantly optimizing his craft and refining new recipe ideas. Under the motto “Always do something different than others”, he has won the gold medal of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) several times for his famous brown bread. However, his main focus in the bakery has always been on Berliner baked goods. For him, customers must “see the freshness, taste the freshness and smell the freshness as soon as they open a bag of delicious Berliners.” The Kippfix appliances significantly optimize and simplify production. “Freshness is quality” - this is the top priority of KippFix Schaubacktechnik.
The trained and experienced master baker was convinced of his patents right from the start, even if he was initially ridiculed by competitors at trade fairs who claimed that a fat pan with heating coils was the only real thing. Many of them were later proved wrong. Heinrich Wiechers also always had the right instinct when investing in products from other countries. In Timo Huber, the company now has a worthy successor who, like him, wants to infect many more customers with the “KippFix” virus.
